Intermediate Bladderwort Utricularia intermedia

Native. Unlike its cousins, this species apparently never flowers in Britain. All that there is to be seen is a mat of finely dissected leaves on the surface of very wet peat, looking very much like a moss. It is essentially a northern species, and is extremely rare in lowland Britain, although lacking flowers, it is hard to find and identify.
